CAD-Earth: Connecting AutoCAD to Google Earth, allows you to quickly and easily import/export images and maps and map configurations between Google Earth and major CAD programs. You can import a corresponding Google Earth image in full color or grayscale in standard image formats (BMP, JPEG, TIFF) using closed polylines. The image can be cropped within the closed polylines, and linked overlapping images can be created to enhance image accuracy. You can also import polygons, paths, and placemarks from Google Earth into major CAD programs (AutoCAD, ZWCAD+, and BricsCAD). Polygons can be imported as 2D or 3D multi-dimensional lines projected onto the maps, with optional fill color applied. Placemark labels can be imported as blocks with elevation, including the placemark name and description. An icon library is included where you can select a set of placemark icons to insert or add your own groups. CAD objects such as lines, polylines, arcs, circles, and points can be exported to Google Earth as polygons, paths, or placemarks. You can adjust the line thickness of the object, outline, fill color, and opacity. The curve smoothness can be controlled by specifying the maximum segment length and angle deviation. You can also set the placemark name, description, scale, and icon. Additionally, you can export CAD drawings to Google Earth as image overlays.

CAD-Earth: AutoCAD Mapping Program

You can capture images in full color, grayscale, or black and white in standard image formats (BMP, JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIF). The background color can be completely transparent or changed to another color if desired. Screenshots can also be captured in sections to enhance the final image resolution. Map grids can be created within an existing closed polyline or along a polyline path that calculates point elevations from Google Earth. By specifying the origin point, rotation angle, and spacing between rows and columns, you can adjust the grid density and accuracy. The resulting grid can be processed to obtain contour lines, dynamic profiles, and complete section drawings with annotations.

CAD-Earth: Connecting AutoCAD to Google Earth

The trial version of CAD-Earth has a limit of 500 points when importing a map grid from Google Earth. Only 10 objects can be imported to or exported from Google Earth. Additionally, all images imported to or exported from Google Earth™ will have a watermark text line 'CAD-Earth Demo Version'. The registered version of CAD-Earth can handle any number of points and objects, and images do not have watermark text lines.
