Free Download WhyNotWin11 v2.7.0 Latest Offline Installer for Windows - Identify why your PC isn't Windows 11 ready.
WhyNotWin11 lets you check if your device is compatible with Windows 11 by running a small script.
It works by analyzing the current known system requirements for Windows 11 and then provides you with the results.
There are nine categories listed: boot type, CPU generation/core count/frequency, disk partitioning, RAM, secure boot, storage, and whether the minimum TPM is active.
The interface provides clear results and is also color-coded.
Note: Windows 11 requires TPM and secure boot in UEFI (BIOS).
We don't expect this requirement to be final as part of Windows 11 initially, but we're waiting to see.
WhyNotWin11 is a tool developed by the open-source community, allowing you to test your computer's hardware compatibility with the new Windows 11 operating system, set to launch at the end of 2021.
According to recent press releases from Redmond, Windows 11 requires specific hardware and system configurations: a 1 GHz processor with at least two cores, 4 GB of RAM, a graphics card compatible with DirectX 12, a TPM module, a UEFI disk with secure boot, and 64 GB of storage space.
If you're unsure whether your computer meets all these requirements, simply download and install the free, open-source utility WhyNotWin11.
Microsoft has also rolled out its own PC Health Check solution, which allows you to verify your computer's health, but WhyNotWin11 has the advantage of providing more detailed information about missing or outdated components needed for compatibility. PC Health Check offers a more user-friendly interface and a design in French, but the information remains concise and quick. After analyzing your computer (RAM, CPU, core count and frequency, boot system, storage space, partition type, TPM, etc.), WhyNotWin11 gives you a detailed report on the components that need to be changed or updated. All elements are listed, and a color code tells you if the component is compatible (green line), if it's not (red line), or if further verification is needed (orange line).
Microsoft's new operating system, Windows 11, is known to impose particularly strict hardware configurations, significantly limiting the number of potential users of the new system.
To find out if your computer is compatible with Windows 11, Microsoft developed a compatibility check tool: PC Health Check. However, the utility doesn't seem to have unanimous approval among users, and other programs have been developed to ensure integrity. This is the case with WhyNotWin11 (literally translated as Why not Windows 11).
WhyNotWin11 provides users with a system to analyze your computer's components to ensure it meets all the necessary conditions to receive the new operating system installation, such as a 1 GHz processor with at least 2 cores, 4 GB of RAM, a graphics card compatible with DirectX 12, a TPM module, a UEFI disk with secure boot, 64 GB of storage space, and a screen larger than 9 inches. This excludes many older and newer device models, compact tablets, and some Surface devices.
WhyNotWin11 has an English interface that isn't very practical, but it allows you to quickly check if the components are compatible or not. All required configuration elements are listed, and a color code indicates whether they are compatible. On your right, you can view all your components, and on the left, the information with the color code. Green means compatible, red means not compatible, and orange means the information is unknown.
Of course, this information is only what Microsoft has provided, and it's possible that these details could change between now and the official release of Windows 11, scheduled for Fall 2023.
On June 24, 2021, Microsoft unveiled the new version of its operating system called Windows 11. On this occasion, the American giant announced a complete overhaul of its interface, along with some changes to certain features. The main good news is the possibility of upgrading to Windows 11 for free for owners of previous versions (Windows 10, 8, and 7).
However, to install this update on Windows 11, your computer must meet certain criteria. In other words, not all PC owners will necessarily be able to benefit from this transition to Windows 11. But how can we guess if we'll be able to make the transition on a hardware level if we don't know its technical specifications directly? This is where WhyNotWin11 comes in.
This unofficial utility allows any user to quickly and easily get an idea of their device's eligibility to switch to Windows 11. Can we switch to Windows 11 without changing anything? What PC specifications might not be sufficient? WhyNotWin11 answers all these questions simply.

Overview of WhyNotWin
When you run WhyNotWin11.exe, a window opens and the device is scanned. According to Microsoft's specifications, it now shows exactly where the rabbit is. Because it's not always TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot. SPU or other factors can also be a variable here for why Windows 11 doesn't want to install.
It might be possible anyway. We've described it. The screenshots come from my VM devices with different results.
