By default, when creating a site, version 4.0.0 is selected. However, you can create a site using the previous version by selecting 3.3.7 in the site settings, advanced settings, and Bootstrap version.

Improvements to Git Support

Test Connection to Remote Repositories
You can now check the connection to a remote Git repository from within Dreamweaver. Click Test in the Site Setup dialog or the Add New Remote dialog. Dreamweaver tests whether the URL of the remote repository is valid.

Credentials entered during the addition or connection to the remote repository are not verified.

Save Credentials
Dreamweaver now allows you to save your credentials when cloning a repository. You can save your credentials when entering them in the Site Setup dialog. You no longer need to enter your credentials every time you perform remote Git actions like Push and Pull.

Previously, the option to save credentials was available in the Add Remote dialog and Manage Remote Control. Each time you had to update your credentials, you had to go to this dialog to re-enter your credentials. Now, you can save your credentials directly when cloning a repository.

Search for Files in the Git Panel
Dreamweaver allows you to search for files in the Git panel. As a user, when you have a large number of files in your repository, you can search for files by filename.

When you type the filename in the search box, all files containing the search term are displayed instantly. You can also see the status of these files in the search results, helping you track staged, modified, and untracked files.

Merge Conflict Indicator
When merging branches in Git, if there is a conflict, a Merge Conflict indicator is now displayed in the Git panel. An exclamation mark icon next to the file indicates that there is a conflict in the file.
