Defender Control - Since Vista, Windows Defender has been a built-in feature of Windows. It's a lightweight program that runs in the background to help protect your computer from malware like viruses, spyware, and other unwanted software. Some protection is better than none, and it's integrated and free! However, if you're already using a program that provides excellent malware protection, Defender might just be consuming valuable resources unnecessarily, as you don't need more than one security application running at the same time.
The issue with all versions of Defender from Windows Vista onwards is that it's integrated into the operating system and installed by default without any visible or hidden option to uninstall it.
