Yandex.Browser is one of the best Chromium-based browsers available, carving out its niche in the market by offering a fantastic user experience and speedy loading times. I'm sure you've used at least one Chromium-based browser, and you might find this one quite similar. You might also think switching from one Chrome to another is a waste of time and effort. I'm not here to say otherwise, but during testing, I discovered some features I liked better in this browser compared to, for example, Chrome.
First and foremost, there isn't much to say about browsing the internet: it's an old schtick, we've seen it all, everything works well. However, the user interface is slightly different from what you might be used to. For instance, when a page is loading, you'll see a semi-transparent progress indicator in the address bar. This way, you can be sure the page is still loading and gauge how long it will take to complete.

The default empty tab is also very intuitive, providing quick access to Tableau (a set of icons resembling cards for your most visited websites), a loading list, recently closed sites, and extensions. You can also customize the background image for empty tabs by clicking 'Change Background' at the bottom: there are some nice preset images to choose from, or you can add one from your own photo gallery. However, what I didn't like is that you can only open one empty tab at a time (by default, at least).
I also found it inappropriate that the browser displays in the extensions tab 'Enable' for some extensions that are turned off. Naturally, I thought these were some built-in extensions that were disabled (like a screenshot extension). When I enabled them, I simply downloaded a third-party extension, prompting me to install it. This is quite sneaky, but you are warned in advance now.
Other than that, everything is quite straightforward, the browser features nice motion effects, and I encourage you to give it a try if you're looking to change your primary browser.
