Peace be upon you
What are the reasons for closing channels:
Everyone has seen and is aware of the recent YouTube issue
In fact, this step should have been taken a long time ago
It involves a thorough review of channels and content
This is where the idea of YouTube's "YouTube Avengers" came from, which are the people who monitor all channels
They report any violating channels and get them shut down
The concept of the Avengers wasn't very clear, but with major companies pulling their advertising campaigns from YouTube, the company had to act quickly, and indeed, they started closing all violating channels
- YouTube offers assistance
I attended a 3-day training with YouTube at the end of March
Despite everything happening, YouTube is still helping newcomers and content creators, and this is highlighted by the training focused on how to properly create a new channel and promote it
Even the simplest details, like how to create a professional cover, were covered in the training alongside creators of large channels
Those with 2 million subscribers or more to help guide how to start and proceed correctly
The focus is entirely on genuine content creators, those who work hard to produce content, regardless of whether it's useful like courses or not, like comedy channels; the idea is that the content is 100% yours
When will ads return:
Currently, work is underway to adjust some matters, and hopefully, ads will return very soon
However, YouTube is currently preparing to close channels that are much larger than those previously closed
There is a test on all channels during this period, after which violating channels will be closed and ads will return again
New updates:
There are many updates, some concerning current or new channel owners, and the most important updates within the advertiser's account now allow them to control the content on which their ads appear, which was the reason for companies pulling campaigns from YouTube
The most important updates, as my brother Tawfiq Abu Halawah clarified, thank you very much
For new channels, first, the channel will be reviewed properly, just like what happens with Blogger or if you want to upgrade your account from hosted to regular (a proper review in short)
To start monetizing the channel, you must reach 100,000 views
What about partner companies:
Honestly, companies are the best solution for you right now
YouTube doesn't care about the channel if you are with a company because now every company is required to review the channels they manage as well as new ones properly; if there are violating channels with the company and these channels are closed, YouTube has the right to shut down the entire company account if it reaches a maximum of 300 channels
So what are the conditions for partner companies?
Companies have specific conditions; I contacted about 100 companies regarding the conditions for newcomers
1- Content must be 100% exclusive and yours
This is number one, a million lines
Some companies might say come even if you have just 10 subscribers, but it’s not important as long as you have your own content
2- The channel must have been created for at least 30 days
3- Views: Some companies require 1,000 views, while others require 5,000 views, up to 20,000
4- Payment methods: Usually PayPal; some companies pay you if your earnings are $0.011, while others have a minimum threshold
5- What is the percentage I receive?
It starts from 60% up to 80% if you are new
It can reach up to 90% but only for larger channels
If you want a detailed video or article on the companies and the conditions for each one, leave a comment below
And, God willing, I will do what you ask
Summary: YouTube in the coming period will be a stronger platform than ever before because competition has become extremely fierce with Facebook after the launch of Facebook ads on videos
YouTube will implement many updates frequently; the situation will be tough for those who are working improperly; it’s just a matter of time. If you want to work on YouTube seriously, create your own content. What is that content? You choose it if you want to continue with them, but if you want to earn a little money from a football match, series, or movie and leave, you are free; the decision is in your hands. Seize the opportunity now and start working correctly
For those who have channels and the content is not theirs, my advice is to delete everything you have and start creating your own content on the channel. Thank God you have subscribers and an old channel, so keep going
