Today's articles are about Google AdSense

First, What is Google AdSense?

Google AdSense is considered the favored child of the large and globally renowned Google company.

Google AdSense is a profit-generating program that allows you to earn money from ads displayed on your website. You earn money not only from clicks on the ads shown by Google on your site but also from ad impressions. Google assigns a specific revenue for every thousand ad views based on the country and visitors to your site. So, when an ad is displayed 1,000 times, you receive a specific revenue. This was a brief overview of Google AdSense; now let's get into the details.

Initially, Google AdSense is primarily a profit-driven company that relies on the ads placed within various types of blogs, whether your site is a blog, WordPress, or even a simple site. You are generally eligible to receive AdSense ads.

AdSense aims to provide the best experience for both advertisers and publishers, trying to protect the rights of advertisers, who may one day be you, and the rights of publishers who represent the blogs that AdSense grants the right to display ads.

An Overview of How Google AdSense Works

As mentioned, Google AdSense grants publishers the right to display ads in exchange for receiving revenue, which we will learn how to calculate in another part of the article. This revenue is divided between you and AdSense, meaning that the profits you earn from your ads will not be 100% yours; Google will take a share of those profits as it acts as the intermediary between you and the product or site you are advertising on your site through the AdSense program.

So, the question that is now on your mind is: how will AdSense share the profits with me?

I will now provide you with the answer through an image, and then I will explain it in detail.

This image illustrates what AdSense considers the basis of its dealings with publishers: the publisher's share of the profits from the ads displayed on their site is

68% of the total profits, while the remaining 32% goes to AdSense. This condition applies to ads displayed on both websites and YouTube. For example, if you earned $100 in a month, those profits will be split with Google AdSense as mentioned above, meaning you will receive $68, and AdSense will take $32. This is how the profit-sharing process works with AdSense.

Now, let's move on to the point of revenue per thousand impressions and how profits are divided and calculated.

Revenue Per Thousand Impressions

Revenue per thousand impressions represents the estimated earnings accumulated for every thousand times your ad is displayed. It does not represent your actual earnings; rather, it is calculated by dividing your estimated earnings by the number of page views or impressions you received, then multiplying the result by 1,000.

Formula:

Revenue per thousand impressions = (Estimated earnings / Number of page views) * 1000

For example:

If the estimated profit from 25 page views is $0.15, then the revenue per thousand impressions would be (0.15 / 25) * 1000, resulting in your earnings of

 $6.00.

If the estimated profit from 45,000 ad impressions is $180, then the revenue per thousand impressions would be (180 / 45,000) * 1000, resulting in your earnings of

 $4.00.

Revenue per thousand impressions is a figure used in advertising programs and can be useful when comparing revenues across different channels.

How Can I Ensure My Site is Accepted by Google AdSense?

First, you should know that Google AdSense is not a robot; it is people like you and me who review your application to display ads on your site. I would like to share the necessary things that should be available on your site or channel for it to be accepted by AdSense based on my personal experience with this large company.

First, you must own a site or channel to have the right to apply to Google AdSense.

As for the channel, it was much easier to obtain an AdSense account in the past.

Google AdSense has the authority to display ads on your channel, but you will not be able to display ads on the site. Here, we can refer to the account you own as hosted. Recently, YouTube issued a decision based on the withdrawal of some major advertising companies from the advertising partnership with Google AdSense and YouTube due to the emergence of some low-quality content and content promoting hate and terrorism. These channels were displaying Google AdSense ads for these companies, which angered them and led them to withdraw their ads from YouTube, which is owned by Google, resulting in the withdrawal of the partnership with AdSense. Therefore, YouTube has a good policy for your channel to be accepted in AdSense, which is that your channel must have received 10,000 views to be eligible to apply for AdSense. After that, you submit a subscription request for YouTube to review your channel and respond within a period ranging from 3 days to a month.

As for websites, the process is more complicated than YouTube channels. There is a long list of conditions that must be met on your site, and we will start listing them sequentially.

First, the content of your site must not violate policies and conditions, and here is a long list of rejected content in Google AdSense:

Adult content

Any explicit sexual content that includes videos and sexual images.

Hateful or dangerous content, which includes

Threatening or inciting harm to oneself or others; harassing or seeking to intimidate or deal harshly with an individual or group of individuals; inciting hatred against or calling for discrimination or contempt for individuals or groups based
