InCopy CS2 for smaller creative teams features a collaborative editing technology that allows designers and editors to work on the same InDesign CS2 document simultaneously without interfering with each other's work. Workflow tasks work with assignments that contain only the InDesign CS2 elements you need to view and edit, from a specific area of the page to the entire document. Monitor, manage, and track changes happening in InDesign CS2 so you can update your information in InCopy CS2.

The ability to contribute to graphic content allows you to easily place, size, and crop images and artwork in the graphic frames designated by your designers.

Drag and drop text lets you drag and drop selected text from one area to another while editing your copy.

Paste without formatting automatically strips formatting from the copy as you paste it from one location to another in InCopy CS2, or from the source application, such as Microsoft Word or email, to your InCopy CS2 account. The pasted text then inherits the formatting applied to its new destination.

Flexible word management allows you to create multiple dictionaries and references, including linking to shared dictionaries online. Easily import and export word lists from your dictionaries.

Macro text automates frequently used phrases in your copy. Type a macro shortcut—like WH for White House—followed by a space, and the shortcut is automatically converted to the intended text.

Custom tracking display lets you customize how changes are displayed on the screen.

Notes allow you to work with notes in the way that suits you best, with a single click, context-sensitive to convert selected text into a note, or a note in the text, or split notes.

Enhanced Microsoft Word import easily resolves character and paragraph style conflicts when opening and importing files from Microsoft Word, RTF, TXT, and other formats.
